Before I had my two precious children, I was a teacher for 20+ years with various age groups.
I've Been in the creative arts all my life... Oil Painting, Still Life, Water Colors, Photography, Acrylic Painting, Pottery...and Face Painting.
I am a stay home mom..who is devoted to her children and family. And I am forever grateful for their support that enables me to blossom in my two most passionate things... be with children and face paint.
My hobbies are volunteering at my children's school, face painting, volunteering at the Animal Rescue League of NH, face painting, camping, coordinating neighborhood fun events, and face painting.
At home, it is joy to play with our 2 dogs, and 4 cats.
Raised in Nashua, NH. Currently reside in the cozy Town of Milford, NH. Just love being here!

I have worked many many years with young children and parents. It not only takes talent to be face painter...but also patience and understanding that each child who sits in my chair is unique and special. Special requests and designs that are "child" inspired...are always welcome! They are, after all...the canvas. ;)
Parents/caretakers also play an important roll. I feel it is "key" to work with the parents at a professional level.... after all I am asked to come to their home to play a very important part in their child's life. I feel grateful for the families that have allowed me to take part in their child's special day. Thanks to ALL those that have hired me.
It is also important to work closely with other professional face painters. At large public events, I am willing to team up with other professional face painters.
*Professional Face Painters... only use FDA face paints, they are insured, have registered business, they do continuing education, they know the face painting market.
Some paints used by professional face painters... Snazaroo, Paradise, Wolfe, Kryolan, Ben Nye, Paradise.
For face paints...they must be waterbased... AND FDA approved!

I go extra steps to maintain a healthy-safe painting environment. I only using professional face paints. Professional face paints are safe, and gentle. I have painted several children w/skin conditions, and they have had no reaction to the paints I use. REMEMBER...it is in the PRACTICE, not the paints, that cause cross contamination. (If a child is sick, I suggested to have their arm or hand painted.) So, for added health and safety measures .....
Each child will have their own disposable face sponge for full or half face painting. 
Between each face painting and changing of color, I clean my brushes w/anti-fungal, anti-bacterial solution that is safe for children and my brushes.
If a child chooses to have their lips painted a disposable applicator is used.
I use the only waterbased FDA approved professional face paints. It is safe, non-toxic. And it washes off easily with water and mild soap. Generally, it does not stain clothing.
